all of our horses have been turned out for the winter after full checks by

the farrier & EvERY mini has been checked by our equine dentist &

we are glad that everyone of our minis has a perfect bite & with no over crowding

in either molars or premolars ({this is very common in minis due to the way

they have been down sized)

we go that extra mile to make sure our breeding stock are 100% in every way

Even more titles for our stallion in 2009

European Miniature Horse Association Champion Senior Stallion 2009

Miniature Horse Assoication of Ireland Champion Draught Type 2009

There ISN'T another stallion in Ireland who has EVER achieved this sucess

also our own Tinkerbell has achieved another Championship title

not bad as thats 3 years out of 3

none of our horses are put on walkers for hours & hours, nor are they smothered in a heating lotion then wrapped in clingfilm & neck sweats.

Our horses are never deprived of hay/haylage or water to keep them trim, we produce our horses 100% naturally

both mother and daughter a success in the ring in 2009, yet again beating many AMHA imports

a CHAMPION foal from Multi Champion parents

the 1st of her kind in Ireland

we do not use an AMHA stallion so we are free from the many known genetic defects associated with these miniature horses,

including deafness & dwarfism, to name but two.

already a number of dwarf minis have been bred in Ireland by AMHA stallions.

these serious known genetic faults are currently being discussed by the American breeders/owners & it is believed that at least 50% of American Miniature horses are carriers of these genes.

please read this

after the recent lecture given by John Eberth to the AMHA.

dont take our word for it - read it for yourself

This is Gold Melody Boy

Gold Melody Boy was an American Shetland, just like Rowdy, to whom he had an interesting genetic relationship, their offspring are all registered AMHA. AMHA are a registry of mini horses NOT a breed of mini horse.
His 4 most important sons are: Wittmaacks Mickey MouseRoan Ranger, Johnstonss Gold Bar and Johnstons Gold Boy.  They have proven themselves as outstanding sires producing a vast number of get and grand-get who won National Show titles, including grand championships.

Gold Melody Boy daughters and grand-daughters have been priceless treasures in breeding programs all over the US. Melody Boys masterpiece was Johnston's Vanilla, subsequently owned by Lowell Boone and Little King Farm. She has secured her place in history by producing Boone's Little Buckeroo

So Gold Melody Boy is Buckeoo's Grandsire.

This is our stallion Mac

we think that we may have the Gold Melody Boy of the 21st century.

This stallion only stands to a limited number of approved mares every year.

Thers isn't another stallion in Ireland or Northern Ireland who has ever achieved the showring success that Mac has. You should always use the top stallion for your breeding programme.

inferior stallion = inferior foals

A selection of some of the trophies won by Mac

in 2008

we believe the proof of a really super show horse is to

show them in the UK & win

& we did just that

Mac has been to Miniature Horse of the Year twice

& was placed 1st Reserve Supreme in Show 2005

& Reserve Supreme Draught Type in 2008

No other stallion in Ireland or Northern Ireland has EVER achieved this

all of our horses are produced naturally, we do not neck sweat them or put them on horse walkers for hours and hours every week nor do we deprive our horses of water to make them trim and we NEVER dope our horses for the show ring

our horses live like horses and even when showing live out on 5 acres 4-5 days a week

Check out our fantastic results at

Miniature Horse of the Year Show 2008

the UK's biggest & most prestigious show

www.imhps.com

We are confident enough in our show team to take them to the

Europe's biggest & best known miniature horse show

& they didn't let us down, with 2 major titles to take home with us

our breeding programme has been greatly enhanced by these results as we don't breed from anything that hasn't proven itself time & time again

there are so few Elite graded horses in Ireland that this makes our gang that bit extra special
